The Zoning Hearing Board is convened on an as-needed basis, typically the third Monday of the month at 7:30 pm.  Hearings are held before the Zoning Hearing Board on matters of requests for special exceptions and/or variances to the Zoning Ordinance.  Prior to the Zoning Hearing, the Planning Commission and Board of Supervisors review Zoning Hearing applications.  Click here for the listing of 2018 meetings.

The Honey Brook Township Zoning Hearing Board will hear application #2018-9, of Wendy Lauer, 2135 Chestnut Tree Road, on Monday, October 22, 2018, at 7:30 pm.  The applicant is appealing the Notice of Violation/Enforcement Notice dated August 2, 2018, alleging violation of Section 27-1502.A. of the Township Zoning Ordinance of 2003, as amended, in parking non-passenger vehicles on the premises.  The public is invited to attend and participate.  Click here to see the legal advertisement in its entirety.

The Honey Brook Township Zoning Hearing Board will hear application #2018-10, of Mobile Realty 3, LLC, on Monday, November 12, 2018, at 7:30 pm.  The applicant is seeking variances to the Honey Brook Township Zoning Ordinance of 2003, as amended, Sections 27-1306.1.A., B., & D. and 27-1303.6, in order to exceed permitted disturbance limitations in the Steep Slope Conservation District and in the Woodlands and Hedgerows and to permit expansion of an existing Mobile Home Park (located at 2222 Horseshoe Pike) in a prohibitive slope area.  The public is invited to attend and participate.  Click here to see the legal advertisement in its entirety.

Zoning Ordinance

Ordinance 196-2018, passed on September 12, 2018.
Repeals and restates Chapter 27 of the Township Code of Ordinances, Zoning, in its entirety.
Exhibit A:  Chapter 27, Zoning.  Effective September 17, 2018.
Exhibit B:  Zoning Map.  Effective September 17, 2018.

Please note that this new Chapter 27 has not yet been codified into the Township Code of Ordinances and is not yet searchable on the General Code site.
