The Chester County Department of Community Development has announced four upcoming Adult Mental Health First Aid classes in March and April, 2018. Click here for the complete schedule.
Program participants will learn how to help another person who is struggling with a mental health concern by:
- Learning risk factors, warning signs, and the impact of mental health concerns,
- Practicing the Mental Health First Aid action plan,
- Learning local resources for mental health and substance abuse treatment, and
- Receiving a user-friendly manual and certification.
