Prohibitions Ordinance, which prohibits certain discharges into the Municipal Separate Storm Sewer System (MS4) and alterations to stormwater management facilities or best management practices (BMPs).

Ordinance 170-2014, passed on May 14, 2014.
Amends the Honey Brook Township Permanent Stormwater Management Controls Ordinance (Chapter 20 of the Township Code, as amended) to meet Pennsylvania Departement of Environmental Protection requirements to adopt a Stormwater Management Ordinance consistent with the county-wide Act 167 Stormwater Management Plan for Chester County.

Ordinance #169-2013, passed on December 11, 2013.
Amends the Zoning Ordinance of 2003, as amended, with regard to retail uses, Rural Occupancy, and street line.
These regulations are now found in Chapter 27, Parts 202, 902, 1002, 1602, & 1604  of the Township Code of Ordinances originally enacted by Ordinance 122-2006, as part of the December 11, 2013 revision.

Ordinance #168-2013, passed on November 13, 2013.
Sets the maximum speed limit on Poplar Road at 35 mph.
This regulation is now found in Chapter 15, Part 2 of the Township Code of Ordinances originally enacted by Ordinance 122-2006, as part of the December 11, 2013 revision.

Ordinance #167-2013, passed on October 13, 2013.
Amends the Zoning Ordinance of 2003, as amended, with regard to Kennels.
These regulations are now found in Chapter 27, Part 1604 of the Township Code of Ordinances originally enacted by Ordinance 122-2006, as part of the December 11, 2013 revision.

Ordinance #166 is still in development by the Planning Commission.

Ordinance #165-2013, passed on June 12, 2013.
Amends the Zoning Ordinance of 2003, as amended, with regard to decks, keeping of animals, Bed & Breakfasts, & communication towers AND amends the  Subdivision and Land Development Ordinance (SALDO) of 2004, as amended, with regard to submission requirements.
These regulations are now found in Chapter 27, Parts 202, 402, 502, 602, 702, 802, 902, 1002, 1602, 1603, and 1704 and Chapter 22, Parts 403, 405, and 407 of the Township Code of Ordinances originally enacted by Ordinance 122-2006, as part of the December 11, 2013 revision.

Ordinance #164-2012, passed on September 12, 2012.
Authorizing Honey Brook Township to enter into an intergovernmental cooperation agreement to form the Western Chester County Council of Governments (WCCCoG).
See Appendix D of the Township Code of Ordinances originally enacted by Ordinance 122-2006, as part of the September 12, 2012 revision.
The By-Laws of the WCCCoG was approved by the Board at the September 12, 2012 meeting also.

Ordinance #163-2012, passed on September 12, 2012.
Sets the maximum speed limit on Talbotville Road, Icedale Road, Mill Road, Meadville Road, and Forrest Road at 35 mph.
These regulations are now found in Chapter 15, Part 2 of the Township Code of Ordinances originally enacted by Ordinance 122-2006, as part of the September 12, 2012 revision.

Amends the Streets and Sidewalk Ordinance to add standards for use of land within public Rights-of-Way.
These regulations are now found in Chapter 21, part 3 of the Township Code of Ordinances originally enacted by Ordinance 122-2006, as part of the September 12, 2012 revision.

Ordinance 160-2011, passed on September 14, 2011.
Amends the Zoning Ordinance of 2003, as amended, amending impervious coverage maximum in the C (Commercial ) district & removing driveway standards for single-family dwellings.
These regulations are now found in Chapter 27, Parts 903 & 1708 of the Township Code of Ordinances originally enacted by Ordinance 122-2006, as part of the September 12, 2012 revision.

Ordinance 159-2011, passed on September 14, 2011.
Amends the Zoning Ordinance of 2003, as amended, to repeal and replace Chapter 27, Part 14, Signs, of the Township Code of Ordinances originally enacted by Ordinance 122-2006, as part of the September 12, 2012 revision.

Ordinance 158-2011 was tabled on June 8, 2011.
Proposed amendment to the Zoning Ordinance of 2003, as amended, to add standards for electronic signs.

Ordinance #157-2011, passed on February 17, 2011.
Amends Part 5 of Chapter 20, Illicit Discharge Detection and Elimination, to include prohibited discharges, prohibited connections, and roof drains in the Township Code of Ordinances originally enacted by Ordinance 122-2006, as part of the February 17, 2011 revision.

Ordinance 156-2011, passed on January 3, 2011.
Amends the Zoning Ordinance of 2003, as amended, to revise minimum lot area requirements in RC (Resource Conservation) district & disturbance limits in the SCC (Steep Slope Conservation) district.
These regulations are now found in Chapter 27, Parts 202, 503 & 1303 of the Township Code of Ordinances originally enacted by Ordinance 122-2006, as part of the February 17, 2011 revision.

Ordinance 155-2010, passed on November 10, 2010.
Authorizes a general obligation note in the amount of $1,500,000 for Land Preservation purposes.

Ordinance 154-2010, passed on November 10, 2010.
An ordinance required by Act 32  for a new Earned Income Tax Ordinance.
These regulations are now found in Chapter 24, Parts 201 & 208 of the Township Code of Ordinances originally enacted by Ordinance 122-2006, as part of the February 17, 2011 revision.

Ordinance 153-2010, passed on September 8, 2010.
Amends the Zoning Ordinance of 2003, as amended, to remove requirements for aggregate side yards.
These regulations are now found in Chapter 27, Parts 403, 405, 503, 603, 703, 803, & 1105 of the Township Code of Ordinances originally enacted by Ordinance 122-2006, as part of the February 17, 2011 revision.

Ordinance 152-2010, passed on July 14, 2010.
Amends the Zoning Ordinance of 2003, as amended, to revise wetland protection requirements.
These regulations are now found in Chapter 27, Parts 1304 & 1307 of the Township Code of Ordinances originally enacted by Ordinance 122-2006, as part of the February 17, 2011 revision.

Ordinance 151-2010, passed on July 14, 2010.
Amends the Zoning Ordinance of 2003, as amended, to revise standards for cemeteries and kennels.
These regulations are now found in Chapter 27, Parts 402, 502, 602, 1603, & 1604 of the Township Code of Ordinances originally enacted by Ordinance 122-2006, as part of the February 17, 2011 revision.

Ordinance 150-2010, passed on July 14, 2010.
Amends the Subdivision and Land Development Ordinance (SALDO) of 2004, as amended, to revise provisions for plan submissions & deadlines, post-site development document submissions, and paving requirements.
These regulations are now found in Chapter 22, Parts 403, 405, 407, 613, 614, 615, & 804 of the Township Code of Ordinances originally enacted by Ordinance 122-2006, as part of the February 17, 2011 revision.

Ordinance 149-2010, passed on May 19, 2010.
Amends Chapter 20, Parts 203, 301, 803, 901 of the Township Code of Ordinances originally enacted by Ordinance 122-2006, as part of the February 17, 2011 revision, to adjust exemptions to stormwater management controls, identify and reclassify each type of use & development as a category, and amends associated Appendices.

Ordinance 148-2009, passed on December 12, 2009.
Amends the Zoning Ordinance of 2003, as amended, regarding kennels AND amends the Subdivision And Land Development Ordinance (SALDO) of 2004, as amended, regarding plan submission requirements.

Ordinance 147-2009, passed on September 9, 2009.
Amends the Zoning Ordinance of 2003, as amended, regarding nonconforming lots in RC (Resource Conservation) district, lights in I (Industrial) district, and decks in rear yards within the Conservation Design Option.
These regulations are now found in Chapter 27, Parts 503, 1005, & 1105 of the Township Code of Ordinances originally enacted by Ordinance 122-2006, as part of the September 9, 2009 revision.

Ordinance 146-2009, passed on July 15, 2009.
Amends the SALDO of 2004, as amended, regarding driveways AND amends the Zoning Ordinance of 2003, as amended, to revise lot area requirements in RC (Resource Conservation) district, rear yards, & temporary structures.
These regulations are now found in Chapter 27, Parts 301, 503, 1602, 1604, 1704, & 2404 and Chapter 22, Part 615  of the Township Code of Ordinances originally enacted by Ordinance 122-2006, as part of the September 9, 2009 revision.

Ordinance 145-2009, passed on May 13, 2009.
Amends the Zoning Ordinance of 2003, as amended, regarding no-impact Home Occupations and Rural Occupations.
These regulations are now found in Chapter 27, Parts 702, 802, 902, 1002, 1602, & 1603 of the Township Code of Ordinances originally enacted by Ordinance 122-2006, as part of the September 9, 2009 revision.

Ordinance 144-2009, passed on June 10, 2009.
Authorizes an Intergovernmental Cooperation Agreement to form the Western Chester County Uniform Construction Code Board of Appeals (WCCUCCBoA).

Ordinance 143-2009, passed on February 11, 2009.
Amends the Zoning Ordinance of 2003, as amended, regarding sign regulations.
These regulations are now found in Chapter 27, Part 1405 of the Township Code of Ordinances originally enacted by Ordinance 122-2006, as part of the September 9, 2009 revision.

Ordinance 141-2009, passed on March 11, 2009.
Adopts the Official Map of Honey Brook Township per Article IV of the Pennsylvania Municipalities Planning Code.

Ordinance 142-2008, passed on November 12, 2008.
Amends the Zoning Ordinance of 2003, as amended, creating an option for public sewer service in the Resource Conservation (RC) district.
These regulations are now found in Chapter 27, Parts 202, 1104, 1105, & 1109 of the Township Code of Ordinances originally enacted by Ordinance 122-2006, as part of the September 9, 2009 revision.

Ordinance 140-2008, passed on December 10, 2008.
Amends the Zoning Ordinance of 2003, as amended, adding Part 24, the Rocklyn Station Traditional Neighborhood Design (TND) Overlay District and incorporating a manual of design guidelines for said district to of the Township Code of Ordinances originally enacted by Ordinance 122-2006, as part of the September 9, 2009 revision.

Ordinance 139-2008 was not brought to a vote before the Board of Supervisors.  It proposed changes to Junk Yard regulations.

Ordinance 138-2008, passed on July 9, 2008.
Authorizing a 25-year loan at a fixed 4.25% rate for $4.3 million.

Ordinance 137-2008, passed on August 13, 2008.
Amends the Zoning Ordinance of 2003, as amended, establishing additional regulations for Equestrian Events.
These regulations are now found in Chapter 27, Parts 202 & 1602 of the Township Code of Ordinances originally enacted by Ordinance 122-2006, as part of the September 9, 2009 revision.

Ordinance 136-2008, passed on March 12, 2008.

Ordinance 135-2008, passed on April 9, 2008.
Amends the Zoning Ordinance of 2003, as amended, by regarding outdoor storage and amending standards for accessory use related to stormwater management.
These regulations are now found in Chapter 27, Parts 1002, 1602, & 1706 of the Township Code of Ordinances originally enacted by Ordinance 122-2006, as part of the April 9, 2008 revision.

Ordinance 134-2008, passed on February 13, 2008.
Removes various design standards from the Zoning Ordinance of 2003, as amended; transfers them to the Subdivision And Land Development Ordinance (SALDO) of 2004, as amended.
These regulations were moved from Chapter 27, Parts 804, 904, 1111, 1112, 1302, 1304, 1505, 1507, 1509, 1708, 1712, & 1714 to Chapter 22, Parts 615 & 617 of the Township Code of Ordinances originally enacted by Ordinance 122-2006, as part of the April 9, 2008 revision.

Ordinance 133-2008, passed on April 9, 2008.
Amends the Zoning Ordinance of 2003, as amended, regarding Woodlands protection, the RC (Resource Conservation), and natural features conservation standards AND amends the SALDO of 2004 revising design standards.

Ordinance 132-2007, passed on December 12, 2007.
Amends the Zoning Ordinance of 2003, as amended, regarding setbacks in the Ag district AND the Subdivision And Land Development Ordinance (SALDO) of 2004, as amended, regarding parking.
These regulations are now found in Chapter 27, Parts 403, 405, 1504, & 1602 and Chapter 22, Part 617 of the Township Code of Ordinances originally enacted by Ordinance 122-2006, as part of the April 9, 2008 revision.

Ordinance 123-2006, passed on December 15, 2006.
Amends the Honey Brook Township Code of Ordinances, Chapter 26 (Water), Part 102 of the Township Code of Ordinances originally enacted by Ordinance 122-2006, as part of the March 14, 2007 revision.

Ordinance #122-2006, passed on December 13, 2006.
Codifies the Ordinances of the Township.

Ordinance 121-2006, passed on September 26, 2006.
Amends the Zoning Ordinance of 2003, as amended, regarding Articles II (dry space, floodplain area, historic structure) & XIII  (Uniform Construction Code, floodplains, driveways, riparian corridors) AND the Subdivision and Land Development Ordinance (SALDO) of 2004, as amended, regarding riparian corridors.
These regulations are now found in Chapter 27, Part 402 of the Township Code of Ordinances originally enacted by Ordinance 122-2006.

Ordinance 120-2006, passed on July 5, 2006.
Amends the Zoning Ordinance of 2003, as amended, Article IV by deleting the conservation design option and correcting numbering and typographical error in Ordinance 119-2006.
This ordinance was voided by the Zoning Hearing Board decision 2006-10.
A comprehensive re-adoption of the Zoning Ordinance of 2003, Ordinance 129-2007, reinstated this ordinance.  See the Township Code of Ordinances, Chapter 27, Parts 27-402, 27-404, 27-1101, 27-1102, 27-1104, 27-1105, 27-1109, 27-1111, and 22-1112.

Ordinance 119-2006, passed on July 5, 2006.
Amends the Zoning Ordinance of 2003, as amended, Articles IV (deleting conservation design option & renumbering) & XI (changing statement of intent & overlay concept sections) and adopting a zoning map.  Click here to see the map.
This ordinance was voided by the Zoning Hearing Board decision 2006-10.
A comprehensive re-adoption of the Zoning Ordinance of 2003, Ordinance 129-2007, reinstated this ordinance.  See the Township Code of Ordinances, Chapter 27, Part 27-402.

Ordinance 118-2006, passed on January 3, 2006.
Authorizing Intergovernmental Cooperation Agreements with Atglen Borough, Caln Township, City of Coatesville, East Brandywine Township, East Caln Township, Modena Borough, Parkesburg Borough, and West Pikeland Township.

Ordinances passed in 2005:
Ordinance 117-2005, passed on December 22, 2005.
Authorizing increase of existing Earned Income Tax (EIT) to 1.5% from 1%, the revenue to be used for Preservation of Farmland and Open Space.
This ordinance was superseded by Ordinance 157-2010.

Ordinance 116-2005, passed on August 10, 2005 .
Amends the Zoning Ordinance of 2003, as amended, Articles VII, XIV, & XVI.
These regulations are now found in Chapter 27, Parts 702 & 1602 of the Township Code of Ordinances originally enacted by Ordinance 122-2006.

Ordinance 115-2005, passed on July 13, 2005.
Authorizing the referendum question in the November 2005 municipal election for Honey Brook Township residents to choose whether they are in favor of the imposition of an additional tax on earned income at rate of one-half of one percent (.oo5) to purchase interests in real property for land preservation purposes.

Ordinance 114-2005, passed on March 9, 2005.
Amends the Zoning Ordinance of 2003, as amended, by revising and amending the zoning map, Article IV & VIII and amending the Subdivision and Land Development Ordinance (SALDO) of 2004, as amended, by amending Article VI.
These regulations are now found in Chapter 22, Parts 602 & 607 of the Township Code of Ordinances originally enacted by Ordinance 122-2006.

Ordinance 113-2004, passed on November 10, 2004.
Amends the Zoning Ordinance of 2003, as amended, Articles II & XVI, regarding Agricultural Buildings.
These regulations are now found in Chapter 27, Parts 202 and 1602 of the Township Code of Ordinances originally enacted by Ordinance 122-2006.

Ordinance 112-2oo4, passed on November 10, 2004.
Alters the maximum speed limit on Lammey Road (Township Road #333) to 35 mph & Grieson Road (TR #339) to 25 mph.
These regulations are now found in Chapter 15, Part 2 of the Township Code of Ordinances originally enacted by Ordinance 122-2006.

Ordinance 111, 2004, passed on October 13, 2004.
Amends the Uniform Construction Code (UCC) to limit exemption of utility & miscellaneous use structures to 500 square feet.
