Seed to Supper Gardening Course

An event every week that begins at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, repeating until October 8, 2019
The Chester County Food Bank has partnered with the Penn State Extension Master Gardeners of Chester County and has announced the Seed to Supper gardening course. Seed to Supper is a beginning gardener course that supports you with the tools and confidence to successfully grow a portion of your own food on a limited budget. Four sessions will be held on Tuesdays, September 17 to October 8, from 2:00 – 4:00 pm at The Church of the Good Samaritan, 212 West Lancaster Avenue, Paoli 19301.
Classes are taught by teams of two facilitators and cover vegetable gardening fundamentals such as garden planning, soil preparation, planting, maintenance, and harvesting. These hands-on sessions encourage growing healthy foods at home and connect you to a support system of gardeners.
There is no fee to attend, but space is limited. Course books and other supplies are provided at no charge. To sign up, register online or contact Raina Ainslie at email@example.com by September 10.
Developed by the Oregon Food Bank and Oregon State University Extension Master Gardener’s Program, Seed to Supper offers more than just garden education and improved access to healthy foods.
