Honey Brook Community Partnership Announces Make a Difference Day project

National Make A Difference Day is an annual community service event held on the fourth Saturday in October.  Since its creation in 1992, Make a Difference Day has helped to encourage thousands of people across the country to make an actual difference in their neighborhood, community and nation.  Overall, Make a Difference Day has spurred people to make a difference in themselves, as well as in the world.  Millions of people have united in the common mission to improve the lives of others.

The Honey Brook Community Partnership has been an active sponsor of Make A Difference Day for many years.  This year, the Honey Brook Community Partnership is supporting Make A Difference Day by involving local organizations, businesses and community members in contributing diapers in sizes 3, 4, 5, & 6, wipes, and adult men’s and women’s underwear and socks.  The donations of diapers and wipes will go to the Honey Brook Food Pantry to be distributed to families in need.  The socks and underwear will go to the American Legion Post 422 for distribution to veterans at the VA Medical Center in Coatesville.

Collection bins will be located in businesses, offices, and community organizations throughout the Honey Brook area, including at the Honey Brook Township Administration Office building.  Visit hbpartnership.org to find a drop-off location near you.
