For National Mental Health Awareness Month, two events are upcoming:
- The Chester County Intermediate Unit (CCIU) is hosting a free, two-hour workshop about Anxiety will be held on Thursday, May 17, from 6:30 to 8:30 pm at the Technical College High School, Brandywine Campus, 443 Boot Road in Downingtown. The showing of the one-hour film, “Angst: Raising Awareness Around Anxiety” will be followed by a panel discussion. Limited seating available; registration is requested at www.cciu.org/angst. - A free documentary, “Resilience: the Biology of Stress & the Science of Hope”, will be shown at the Henrietta Hankin Library Annex, 215 Windgate Drive, Chester Springs on Thursday, May 24 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm.
