The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) has announced changes to driver’s license and photo ID card renewals.
Pennsylvanians with photo cards issued prior to May 10, 2020 must report to a licensing center to renew their licenses; however, those with expired or expiring licenses who have not been issued a photo card may renew their license online at www.dmv.pa.gov. The current photo on file will be used to issue a new license.
Additionally, license expirations have been extended until June 30, 2020.
Real ID applications are suspended temporarily, since the Real ID deadline has been extended to October 1, 2021.
