James A. Umble Memorial Park

Located at 173 Suplee Road, the park is open from dawn to dusk each day.  The park’s three ballfields are routinely used in the Spring and Fall as the home fields for the Twin Valley Little League.  Other park amenities include two children’s play equipment areas, pavilion, tennis courts, basketball court, concession stand, a walking trail around the park, a batting cage, restrooms, and a sand volleyball court.  A sign listing the park’s rules is posted near the entrance.

The picnic pavilion is available for residents to reserve free of charge on a first-come, first-served reservation basis. The pavilion includes outdoor grills and picnic table seating as well as a hitching post.  The parking lot is by the entrance; handicap access is via the trail leading from the tennis courts around the walking trail to the pavilion. Both the pavilion and ballfields can be reserved by filling out a Park Facilities Use Application and returning it to the Township Administration Office by e-mail to kbry [at] honeybrooktwp.org, by dropping off in person during normal business hours (or in the drop box in the parking lot after hours), or by mailing to Honey Brook Township, P.O. Box 1281, Honey Brook, PA 19344, Attn: Kris Bry.  A security deposit of $100 is required to make the reservation, which will be returned provided that there is no damage to the facility used or to the surrounding area.

Equipment Available

Residents may borrow one set of bases for the ballfield or pickleball equipment at no charge for use at the park from the Township Administration Office, 500 Suplee Road. The equipment is available on a first-come, first-serve basis from an outdoor storage box located to the left of the main entrance to the Office.  Please return all equipment once you are done using it.
